CollabOasis Clinical Consultation Groups

The next CollabOasis Intensive begins October 20th.

You built a practice you're proud of. You shouldn't have to carry it alone.

CollabOasis is small group clinical consultation for licensed therapists in solo and online practice. The same 6 to 8 trusted colleagues, twice a month, facilitated every session. It’s how grounded clinicians stay grounded.

A no-pressure conversation with Jeanene to see if a group is the right fit. You are warmly invited.

Already had your discovery chat?

Dear Therapist,

You’ve worked for years to become the best therapist you can be. You’ve worked at some agency jobs, had hours and hours of clinical supervision, passed a licensure exam and have taken the bold step to build a private practice.

Learning how to run a small business was just one more thing for you to tackle in pursuit of your dream to be your own boss, and all of the pieces of your dream have fallen into place.

Now, as you continue to hone your skills and grow your practice, the isolation and lack of a community of colleagues is beginning to take its toll.

You’ve looked for ways to find colleagues to connect with. You’ve observed, or even personally had, some bad experiences in FB groups for therapists, and have been taken aback by the way clinicians sometimes treat each other there.

Along with so many other therapists, you transitioned online. Now you are finding that you are feeling even more isolated but don’t want to open yourself up to colleagues whose values and goals do not align with yours. You’re hopeful there’s a community out there to join with you on your journey as a clinician, and a human being, so you can get the safe, intimate connection you crave.

You know you need to find a way to get trustworthy, helpful peer consultation with other clinicians with the focus being on supporting each other and creating a place of benevolence to establish trust and to build each other up.

That’s precisely why I created the CollabOasis Consultation Groups.

Members participate in closed, facilitated groups of 6-8 fully licensed clinicians who meet virtually twice a month to get consultation on cases, discuss ethics, get business tips and resources, and find supportive colleagues you will get to know and trust. The focus of these groups is on supporting each other and creating a place of benevolence to establish trust and get the clinical support that is so vital in our work.

CollabOasis is the way for you to go from isolated, distrusting and alone to becoming the confident clinician, business owner and human being you strive to be!

Before I close, I want you to know, dear therapist, that I see you. You’re working hard taking care of everyone else while you are also exhausted, overwhelmed and struggling. The work we do is hard. Really, really hard sometimes. And we can’t always see results right away to know we are making a difference.

When you have one of those really rough days that therapists sometimes have, please reach out to colleagues. They are the ones who see you, know you and can guide and/or affirm you. Therapists NEED community! And if you are looking for community, I invite you to schedule a chat so we can discuss how you are doing and how peer groups can help.

Wishing you the best,

What CollabOasis Actually Is

Facilitated, small group clinical consultation, built the way it should have been all along.

Here’s what that means in practice.

Your group is small

Six to eight licensed clinicians. Not sixty. Not a feed of strangers. Each of them is vetted and value-aligned. Small enough that everyone is known.

Your group is closed

The same colleagues, every session. Trust doesn’t happen in one meeting, and it can’t happen at all when the faces keep changing. You’ll grow to know these people, and they’ll grow to know you and your work.

Your group is facilitated

I’m in every session. That means no one dominates, no one disappears into the background, and the conversation stays clinical, respectful, and useful.

Your group is curated

You don’t get dropped into a random room. We start with a conversation about your practice, the populations you serve, your clinical background, and what you’re looking for in consultation. Then I place you in a group. Every member is licensed, vetted, and values-aligned before anyone shares a thing. There is a deliberate mix of experience levels, modalities, and clinical perspectives.

That mix is the point. Newer clinicians bring fresh energy and current training. Seasoned clinicians bring depth and pattern recognition. And here’s what surprises the veterans most: the newer members’ questions bring them back to the fundamentals, the important basics that twenty years of practice can quietly drift away from. Everyone gives. Everyone receives. Everyone stays grounded.

How Joining Works

three months together

Your group meets six times over three months — the rhythm shifts as trust builds.

Oct 20

Oct 27

Nov 3

Nov 10

Nov 24

twice monthly

Dec 8

The rhythm

Your group meets six times over three months. Weekly for the first month, while trust is doing its early work. Then twice monthly in the second month, the same rhythm as the other CollabOasis groups. Your first session runs 90 minutes, because beginnings deserve room. Every session after is a focused 55 minutes.

What shifts by month two

Members stop bringing the polished version of their questions and start bringing the real ones. That shift is the whole point, and the structure exists to protect it.

The Investment

One number. No enrollment fees, no tiers.

Here’s exactly what you’re saying yes to, from your first session to ongoing membership.

$100

per session

A CollabOasis session is $100. That’s the whole pricing structure.

Step 1 · Start here

The Intensive

$600

or two payments of $300
Step 2 · If your group continues

Ongoing Membership

$200 / month

Rate locked for as long as you're a member

Your group decides together at session 6. Nothing auto-renews.

The next Intensive begins Oct 20th at 11 am ET. Groups are capped at 8.

What Members Say When I'm Not in the Room

"Will this actually be safe?"

Every therapist below came in carrying some version of the same question.

Here’s what they found.

I can trust that they’re not going to fear monger me and they’re not going to placate me. They are going to help me.

AL

Dr. Amber Lyda

More than anything it is a safe space to show up authentically and know that others will treat you with care and support.

LS

Lisa Sells, LPC

This has been unlike any other consultation group I have been a part of before in the community. It feels safe and solid.

EG

Elena Glass, LPC

I love having a group of therapists that I know won’t judge me when I ask questions about difficult cases.

ML

Dr. Morgan Levy

I’m in a lot of FB groups, but I’m someone who doesn’t feel comfortable posting to the masses, so the small consultation group is a great fit for me.

LP

Lindsey Pace

I immediately felt connected to everyone… talented, insightful, and super welcoming.

EH

Erin Hoffman, LPCP

The thing members mention most isn’t the clinical advice — though that’s why they come

“Knowing they are there and they care. Every time I see them, and even when I don’t, I know they are there, ready to listen and support.”

— Lisa Sells, LPC

Questions You Might Be Sitting With

Frequently Asked Questions

Click a question to expand it.

When and where do groups meet?

  • All sessions are held via Zoom through a HIPAA-compliant platform, on weekdays between 9am and 5pm Eastern.
  • Your group's specific day and time is set before you commit, so you'll know exactly what you're saying yes to.
  • The intensive has six facilitated sessions over three months. The fall Intensive begins October 20th at 11 am ET.
  • Meetings are weekly for the first 2 months, while trust does its early work: October 20, October 27, November 3, and November 10. Then twice monthly, the rhythm of the other CollabOasis consultation groups: November 24 and December 8. All sessions are at 11 am ET.
  • Session 1 is 90 minutes. Sessions 2 through 6 are 55 minutes, on a HIPAA-compliant platform, with me in the room.

Who can join?

  • Fully licensed, clinicians: LCSW, LPC, LMFT, PsyD, and equivalent.
  • You don't need to have a private practice; members include clinicians in group practices who aren't getting the support they need, and clinicians just starting to build.
  • Because consultation doesn't fall under licensure rules, you can join from any state, and I have members from around the world.
  • What I can't accommodate is pre-licensed clinicians seeking supervision hours; consultation and supervision serve different purposes.

What happens after the two months?

  • At your final group session, your group decides together whether to continue as a CollabOasis group: same colleagues, same time slot, twice a month. If you continue, membership is $200 per month, billed month to month. (minimum of 4 members to continue)
  • If you decide not to continue, the three months are complete and you owe nothing further.

How does payment work?

  • The 6-week intensive is $600, or two payments of $300, paid at enrollment.
  • If your group continues, your ongoing fee of $200 is auto-debited monthly from your card on file, and your rate stays locked for as long as you're a member.
  • Consultation is a professional expense, so it's usually tax-deductible; your accountant can confirm for your situation.

The next Intensive begins Oct 20th at 11 am ET. Groups are capped at 8.

A Word About

PAYING

For something that’s sometimes free

I want to name something, because I'd rather say it out loud than have it sit unspoken between us

Somewhere in grad school, most of us absorbed two ideas:
If some version of that showed up when you read the price, I want you to know you're not alone. It's conditioning. Nearly every therapist I know carries it, including me, for a long, long time.

So let me offer another way to look at it

You already invest in the infrastructure of your practice:
None of those feel indulgent. They're what doing this work well requires. Consultation belongs on that list. It always did. Our field just got into the habit of treating it as a favor instead of a practice.
And here's the honest difference between free and CollabOasis.
Free consultation, the colleague you text, the Facebook thread, gave most of us sporadic input with no structure, no facilitation, and no confidentiality. When it mattered most, it wasn't there, or it wasn't safe. There's a reason it never quite worked.
What costs money is the structure:
That's not something free can deliver, because that's not what free is for.

Whatever you decide, I want you to decide it as an investment question, not a worthiness question. You’re allowed to have professional support. You always were.

The next Intensive begins Oct 20th at 11 am ET. Groups are capped at 8.
